WHAT IS IT ?
Swingaddicts is an international Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz Roots event. In order to maintain a good social and interpersonal vibe, all of the workshops are limited in terms of participant number, and are conducted in the intimacy of a Dance Studio (well that’s a big one we confess 😉
WHEN AND WHERE IS IT ?
It happens in Saint Etienne (circa. 40 km to Lyon), France, and take place the first weekend of February 2020 (exactly from Friday 31/01/2019 to Sunday 02/02/2020)

Birmingham Swing Festival proudly presents… The Grand Ball at Birmingham Town Hall with the Jim Wynn Swing Orchestra.
As part of our 2020 edition of Birmingham Swing Festival our Saturday Grand Ball will take place at the magnificent Birmingham Town Hall. Immerse yourself in a night of the best swing music and dancing in one of Birmingham’s finest venues.
This iconic historical building has played host to none other than Count Basie as well as artists and acts including Edward Elgar, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen and The Rolling Stones.
The Jim Wynn Swing Orchestra, Birmingham’s hippest 16-piece big band will play authentic vintage swing music from the 1930s and 40s. This home-grown big band is building up a real name for themselves, taking its inspiration from the original big bands of the swing era. They play the classic original arrangements of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Fletcher Henderson and Count Basie amongst others. The Jim Wynn Swing Orchestra is a regular at swing dance events and their barnstorming set last year sure got the joint jumpin’!
Dress to impress and enjoy hours of social dancing to live music and some of the UK’s finest DJs, competitions and performances.
Birmingham Swing Festival
The Grand Ball is organised as part of the Birmingham Swing Festival: a festival that brings the best of swing dancing and swing music to Birmingham. You can sign up as a beginner to one of our popular Crash Courses in Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag and Solo Jazz, or really get stuck in with one of the higher level tracks. Hola a Tod@s. Ya comienza el buen tiempo con una nueva Sesión que va a dar mucho que hablar. En esta ocasión con música en directo. Con la mejor música de Dj Swing Madrid y el mejor ambiente de la escena Swing / Lindy Hopper de Madrid. Vamos a organizar la Farewell Jam Yerik Madrid 2022.
A que no lo sabias, Yerik se despide de nosotros. No es un adiós, solo es un hasta luego, porque seguro que va seguir estando muy presente en la escena musical jazzística de nuestra ciudad de Madrid.
Para los bailarines y la gente de la escuela que no le tengáis fichado fue nuestro primer alumno cuando ni si quiera teníamos escuela por el 2005. Ha sido el director de nuestro grupo musical de la escuela The Dominos Swing Band.
Colaborador referente directo en todas la actividades musicales de la escuela.
Así queremos invitaros a conocernos en Nueva Sesión Chill Out Swing de los Viernes. de 22.30 a 02.00h. Una fiesta diferente para gente diferente. No te la puedes perder. Ven a disfrutar de la terracita con mas Swing de la ciudad.

Son dos días en semana. Y son intensivos independientes y programados por semanas .
No es necesario estas apuntado todo el mes.
Y dos horarios son o de 18.00 a 20.00h o De 20.00a 22.00h
Por lo que cada intensivo constara de 4h de Clases.
